 Travis John "T.J.Tornado" Westell 2005 brought on many changes at Wild West Racing. After many successful seasons on dirt, with 3 Series Titles and 2 Track Championships we decided it was time to move to asphalt. In an effort to further Travis racing career, Wild West Racing purchased a Bandolero Racecar. These racecars are built to 1/3 scale stock car. They are about 1 inch off the ground, weigh 750 pounds (with driver) and average speed in the high 70 MPH range. |

Congratulations!!!!from your Crew, Family, and Friends on your 2004 Series and HMP Track Championship ! 11 year old Travis "Tornado" is the "Mini Dwarf Champiom" for the 2003 season. What an excellent season it has been. Travis drove his heart out this year and was so thrilled to capture the Championship. The Mini Dwarfs are 1/3 scale of Dwarf race cars which race on dirt oval tracks all over the country. They are early model (1932-1939) Fords & Chevy's and can be a coupe, delivery sedan or truck. The drivers start at age 8 yrs old up to 15 yrs old. These cars burn Methanol Fuel, have onboard computers and reach speeds of over 60 mph. The cars are equipped with roll cages and 5 point restraint systems. Drivers are required to wear fire retardant suits, gloves, shoes, and a full face helmet. We race on oval dirt tracks all over Southeast Texas. The season is from March thru October of each year.In 2004 we will be racing at Huffman Motorsports Park in Huffman, Port Arthur Speedway in Port Arthur, Hilltop Raceway in Waller, East Texas Fast Trax in Livingston, and Houston Motor Speedway in Houston.
